Danilo acts as COO and project coordinator at VIRTUS/UFCG - Center for Research, Development and Innovation in Information Technology, Communication and Automation, where he coordinates PDI projects in partnerships with national and international technology companies.
He has international experience in the development of automation, connected health, multimedia systems and 5G projects, acting in the leadership of multidisciplinary teams and as CTO in a technology company.
He is currently an adjunct professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), and a permanent researcher at the Graduate Program in Informatics (COPIN) at UFCG.
He is coordinator of the VIRTUS 5G laboratory. He has been a CNPq productivity fellow since 2018.

The Human Machine Interaction Laboratory (LIHM) is part of the Electrical Engineering Academic Unit (UAEE), of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Center (CEEI) of the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), in Campina Grande, Paraíba, Brazil.
At LIHM/UFCG, research is carried out with undergraduate and graduate students, focusing on exploring the challenges inherent in human-machine interaction in a 4.0 connected world.
Danilo is the LIHM/UFCG coordinator.
